More Than Meets The Eye

Branching In

This was not intentional. I was just playing around with crops. So getting closer did not require a hike down the embankment.

This bunch of trees is part of the Weston Overlook.

Title is Sunrise on Budding Maple Trees After Rain photographed April 20, 1983.

I had opened my eyes before dawn as usual, and it was raining, moderately hard. I hoped it would rain harder and that we would get a really strong wind so I could go back to sleep. No such luck. O.K.

So I head east on the Pike just taking a chance and just ¨as I arrive the sun comes out so all the buds are wet. Time to shoot.

What I did not realize was that my APO Nikkor plus Fuji Velvia captured more than I thought, until I just did a little cropping.
