A reviewer for the Boston Globe criticized my landscape imsages as too perfect. But he called me a virtuoso in the same breath as Art Tatum and Vladimir Horowitz. If you know your music you know I would take this association any day. Now I wonder what he would say of my contradances.
Each image (with the exception of sassy saxophones with the french horns in the background) is derived from a single image of a single instrument, but how I will leave as mysterous as how Art derives his astonishing improvisations.
The best way to see these is on a large monitor or even better from a large print. I don’t know of anything to compare them to so you must be the judge.
