MELANGES FROM SUSAN'S GARDEN
Each of these images are assemblages of flower blossoms and petals from my wife's garden. They are photographed digitally requireing about 100 exposures for each image. Lighting is non-directional studio daylight, something that would never happen in nature. As a consequence the colors are very accurate and there are no shadows. I print them up to 44" x 115" and they are brilliant from across the room and have enough detail to require reading glasses.
Of course they can be printed smaller and also as triptichs of squares and diptychs. I think a wall full of small squares would make an interesting presenting.
Nos. 1 and 3 are mostly petals, and No. 2 is full blossoms.
